The ideal amplifier would function

Unlike a separate amplifier for personal use, a car amplifier is very different. Amplifiers are usually made up of vacuum tubes which allow sound signals to be increased or amplified as it is received by the amplifier. However, the vacuum tubes that make up these common amplifiers are not able to function properly in an environment that is constantly vibrating or where ventilation is not as available and where heat constantly builds up like in a car for instance. Henceforth, car audio amps use transistors instead.
The larger the amplifier the more heat it generates. This is one of the many reasons why amplifiers are placed far from the main radio or far from places where electrical instruments are located. Though smaller amps can be placed behind the car radio, larger ones will need to be located elsewhere for it to have ample ventilation and have very less build up of heat which can easily damage these complex instrument. New models of Amplifiers have ridges on its surface just as a radiator would have; this feature allows the instrument to cool better.
The ideal amplifier would function and produce high Wattage output. This is because the higher the Watts the more power output there is from the amps to the speakers and this means that more volume is produced. For this reason, a lot of marketers are making ways to falsely increase an amp's Wattage. One of the marketing strategies is by posting an amp's total Watts. Though it only produces 50 Watts per channel, marketers advertise 100 Watts simply because it has 2 channels even though it is absolutely untrue. Another way to advertise the amps is by placing in the maximum power. This technique forces the amplifier to produce its maximum output that is way beyond its average capacity and then advertising the highest output reached. This tactic is also very deceiving and it does not display the honest output of that certain product.
It is important for buyers to know about the basics of Amplifiers, this way; they can plan well beforehand about what kind or output they should buy. Take note of false advertising and a good way of getting the real numbers of its output is by dividing the advertised number depending on its labels like maximum output, peak output, total output and etc.
